The following images represent one of the very first experimental phases of my photographic practice.

I was the only person of my family who has returned to Albania, which I left since I was only 6 years old. In this screenplay a sort of ideal narrative is outlined, stripped of judgments, a return, which leads me to re-observe and relive a tacit harmony with my place of origin, ending in an epiphany that contains sedimented memories and the amazement of this new encounters.

Therefore, like memories turning into dreams, the narrative of this pictures comes to life through the atmosphere coming out of the relation between light and silence.
A passage is opened for a moment, leading through skin and surface, into the beyond.
