This project interrogates how memory is preserved, erased, or reactivated across generations in perpetual motion. By weaving new textures into historical narratives and foregrounding the lived experiences of displaced communities, the work evokes the fragmented temporality of migratory life.

Non-linear storytelling, sensorial mapping, and layered visuals are used to embody the complexity of memory and movement, creating an imaginary bridge to this knowledge and between the generations. Drawing attention to the significance of diaspora and its impact, in this series of photographs sublime atmospheres appear and disappear, some places has been transfigured. In other photos we find rituals that demonstrate a tension within the landscape, offering a double gaze, and building together a sort of archeology of the outdated memory of the exile.

The position of the exiled is that of a detached figure. It escapes the coordinates of time, is continuously out of sync, ejected from the ancestral lands. This estranged figure embodies displaced memory and seeds the creation of myth, stories that exist somewhere between truth and distortion.
